Castle Danger North Shore Lager

This 5.3% ABV Vienna-style lager is from the Castle Danger Brewery of Two Harbors, Minnesota.

The beer pours a deep amber and copper in color. There is nearly an inch of light tan head, that mostly fizzes down. The aroma is sweet and toasted malt. The taste follows the aromas, well-toasted, with caramel sweet. The finish is very, very dry, with a fairly strong bitterness. The beer has a medium body and fairly intense carbonation.
