Rahr's Blonde Helles Lager

This 5.0% ABV lager is from Rahr & Sons brewing of Forth Worth, Texas. 

The beer pours a deep, dark golden in color. There is a half-inch of white foam head, not long lasting. The aroma is toasted grain, bread, hay, and honey. The taste follows the aromas, adding in a bit of moderate grassy bitterness on the finish. The beer drinks easy, crisp, refreshing. This is a solid and enjoyable lager.
