Tighthead Chilly Water

This 4.8% ABV pale is from the Tighthead Brewing Company of Mundelin, Illinois. It is brewed with wheat and uses Citra and Amarillo hops. I like the deep sea fish on the can whose lure for prey is a hop.

The beer pours a orange-copper-amber in color. There is an inch of off-white head. The aroma is fruity, orange, citrus, peach, and some tea. The taste is more malt forward, with the fruit and citrus lighter on the finish. It drinks crisp with fairly intense bitterness. The beer drinks refreshing with its crispness, but also with some smoothness, and a medium body.
