Bur Oak Hoppen-Daz Mango Milkshake IPA

This 6.0% ABV India Pale Ale is from the Bur Oak Brewing Company of Columbia, Missouri.

The beer pours a lightly hazed orange-golden in color. There is a relatively short head of white foam. The aroma is mild, lightly fruity, toasted malt, don't get much mango. The taste is also mild at first, light mango over toasted malt, like white bread toast with a thin sheen of jelly. The finish is fairly bitter, with an off note of artificial sweetener and bitter chemicals. The beer drinks with a very crisp, refreshing carbonation and drinkable body.
