Toppling Goliath Gamma, Gamma Ray! IPA

The Toppling Goliath Brewing Company is in Decorah, Iowa. They do great things with beer. This 8.1% ABV India Pale Ale is brewed in collaboration with Bottle Logic.

The beer pours a completely cloudy light yellow/orange. There is a tall, thick head of white foam. The aroma is fruity and dank, pineapple, peach, light passion fruit, and a touch of mango skin. The taste follows the aromas, an amalgam of fruit and dank. The finish is very dry and fairly bitter. The beer drinks smooth and soft, with a fine tingling of carbonation. This is nice, and solid, but doesn't achieve the mind bending levels of deliciousness that so many TG beers do.
