Urban Chestnut Zwickel

This 5.1% ABV unfiltered German-style lager is from the Urban Chestnut Brewery of St. Louis, Missouri. 

The beer pours a hazy yellow golden. There is a tall, thick, head of white foam. The aroma is bread, bread dough, hay, floral. The taste follows the aromas, a nice malty breadiness, some tang of yeast, with grassy, floral hops. The finish is moderately bitter. The beer drinks smooth and easy, with a light, yet still refreshing carbonation. This is one fine and tasty beer.
