Uinta Grapefruit Hop Nosh

This 7.3% ABV grapefruit India Pale Ale is from the Uinta Brewing Company of Salt Lake City, Utah. 

The beer pours a hazy dark apricot and amber. There is a tall, thick, foaming head of off-white. The aroma is a blast of grapefruit, almost like Squirt, bright, citrus, fruity, over an ample bed of toasted malt. The taste combines toasted caramel malt, with a blast of grapefruit, juice, rind, flesh. It is sweet, bitter, and tart all at once. The finish is strongly bitter with hops and grapefruit rind bitterness blending. The beer drinks smooth, with a soft carbonation.
