Boulevard DDH Citra IPA

The 12 pack samplers from Boulevard Brewing Company of Kansas City, Missouri now routinely include two varieties of their "Tasting Room" beers; beers that have been available in their tasting room in the past, but not bottled. This is a 5.9% ABV India Pale Ale that was double dry-hopped with Citra hops.

The beer pours a lightly hazed yellow golden. There is an inch of very thick, foaming, white head. The aroma is some citrus and a lot of dankness. The taste is citrus, light mango skin, with dank, earthy notes. There is a moderate bitterness on the finish. The beer drinks soft, like liquid air and pillows. The mouthfeel of this beer is amazing. This has good flavor and is a joy to drink. They should  make it a regular in their lineup.
