Exile Farm Fresh Gose

This 4.9% ABV gose style ale brewed with ginger and Iowa-grown basil is from the Exile Brewing Company  of Des Moines, Iowa. It was brewed in collaboration with 4 Hands Brewing Company of St. Louis, Missouri. 

The beer pours a hazy golden and yellow. There is nearly an inch of white head, not long lasting. The aroma is very tart, the ginger and basil are present, but smell a bit odd. The taste is lemon, basil and ginger. The finish is tart and dry. This is the sauce with out the food, it has a lot of flavors, but they don't hang together right.
