Great Divide Strawberry Rhubarb Sour Ale

This is a 6.2% ABV sour ale brewed with strawberry and rhubarb from the Great Divide Brewing Company in Denver, Colorado.

The beer pours a deep and clear golden in color. There is a half-inch of white fizzing foam, not long-lasting. The aroma is a very pleasant strawberry and rhubarb, both tart and sweet at the same time. The taste follows the aromas, a nicely balanced blend of sweet strawberry and tart rhubarb, over a rich, crackery malt. The beer drinks easily, with a refreshing carbonation of strong, tiny bubbles. If you like the strawberry/rhubarb flavor combination, then I think you'll like this beer.
