Uinta 24th Birthday Suit

Uinta Brewing is from Salt Lake City, Utah. This beer was brewed to mark the brewery's 24th birthday and mine was bottled on April 18, 2017. I think they do a sour cherry ale once a year for their birthday, I had the 19th year previously. This sour cherry blonde ale is 6.2% ABV.

The beer pours dark gold with orange tints. There is a short, thin head of white foam. The aroma is tart, with some damp oxidized wood and light sherry. The bottle says aromas of graham crackers, and I see where they are coming from. I get very little cherry in the aroma. The taste follows the aromas, bright tartness up front, then some cherry, fairly light, then the woody/graham cracker, with a very dry finish. The beer drinks smooth, not highly carbonated, but with still a tingle.
