Boulevard American Kolsch Golden Ale

This 4.6% ABV beer is an American take on the German kolsch-style ale. It is from the Boulevard Brewing Company of Kansas City, Missouri (brewing since 1989). 

The beer pours a very dark golden, nearing amber. There is an inch of white foam head. The aroma is bright, floral, grain, bread. The taste follows the aromas, with a bit of berry and kumquat. The beer drinks extremely refreshing, easy, with crisp carbonation.
