Keystone Ice

Keystone beers are the discount beers brewed by Coors. That used to be in small print on the cans, it is now more prominently displayed (perhaps because of their dust up with Stone Brewing?). Their Ice version has 5.9% ABV.

The beer pours a clear, pale, golden yellow. There is an inch of white head that quickly fizzles down. The aroma is dry grain, metallic, a bit of apple, and light cardboard. The taste follows the aromas, dry grain, wet cardboard, with an apple sharpness on the end. There is little to no bitterness, lightly sweet. The beer drinks with intense carbonation. There is a light chemical aftertaste. This is quite bad.
