Iowa Brewing Zoinks! Session IPA

This 4.5% ABV session India Pale Ale is from the Iowa Brewing Company of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. It uses Mosaic and Citra hops.

The beer pours a deep golden, nearing light amber. There is a tall, thick, foaming head of white to just off-white. The aroma is big, bright, citrus, tropical fruit, with a bit of muskiness. The taste follows the aromas, loads of citrus and tropical fruit, over a base of toasted malt. There is light bitterness on the finish. The beer drinks easy, soft body melding with moderately crisp carbonation. This is a very flavorful session IPA.
