Bauhaus Wagon Party

This is a 5.4% self-described West Coast style lager. It is from Bauhaus Brew Labs of Minneapolis, Minnesota.

The beer pours dark copper and amber in color. There is a tall, thick, foaming head of very light tan. The aroma is malty, toasted, caramel, straw, lager funk, with a fruity and grassy note. The taste follows the aromas, an interesting, but balanced, amalgam of toasted malt and bright fruit and grass, all with a nice lager funk to it. There is a note of sun tea with light lemon. The beer drinks easy, soft, yet also with enough carbonation to be refreshing. This is really great!
