Toppling Goliath Scorpius Morchella DIPA

The Toppling Goliath Brewing Company is in Decorah, Iowa. They do great things with beer. This is their first bottling of this double India Pale Ale that used to be draft only. It is 7.8% ABV and over 100 IBU's and was first brewed to celebrate brewery staff going out morel hunting in the spring. 

The beer pours a cloudy, hazy, golden orange. There is nearly an inch of white, thickly foamy head. The aroma is big, juicy, tropical, guava, mango, pineapple, and also musky. The taste follows the aromas, hitting them note for note. This is big, ripe, juicy, round, full. There is a moderate bitterness on the end. It drinks full, soft, and round.
