Backpocket Gold Coin

This 5.2% ABV helles style lager is from the Backpocket Brewing Company of Coralville, Iowa. 

The beer pours a clear, light golden. There is a short head of white foam. The aroma is grain cereal, a bit tangy, with some sourdough bread. The taste follows the aromas, grain, bread, tangy, with a bit of grassy bitterness. The beer drinks easy, with moderately fizzy carbonation. This is a chugger.
