Insight Splendid Moose

This 5.5% ABV Northeast style pale ale is from Insight Brewing of Minneapolis, Minnesota. It's full name is "Don't Feed the Splendid Moose."

The beer pours a very hazy apricot orange in color. There is a half-inch head of white foam. The aroma is citrus, a bit of pineapple, with a light dankness. The taste follows the aromas, adding in a bit of passion fruit. The finish is citrus tang and zest, with a moderate to strong grapefruit rind bitterness. The beer has a medium body with fairly strong carbonation.
