Summit Imperial IPA

This 8.5% ABV imperial India Pale Ale is from the Summit Brewing Company of St. Paul, Minnesota, and is part of their recent Summit IPA collection.

The beer pours amber and copper in color. There is an inch of off-white foamy head. The aroma is dank, with citrus and toasted caramel malt. The taste follows the aromas directly. The finish is dry, and fairly bitter. This is one dank IPA. The body is smooth, with soft, tingling carbonation.
