Samuel Adams Kellerbier

The Samuel Adams line of beers are from the Boston Brewing Company of Boston, Massachusetts. This 5.0% ABV German-style kellerbier is part of their new all lager mixed 12 pack.

The beer pours a hazy light brown. There is an inch of light tan head, thick and foamy. The aroma is very malty, some caramel, sweet bread, bread crusts, along with hay and straw. The taste follows the aromas, very malty, caramel, bread, grass, hay, straw. The finish is dry and quite bitter. The beer drinks refreshing, nicely carbonated.
