The beer pours an orange honey golden,
a bit like dirty orange juice in color, hazed. There is nearly an
inch of thick, but ragged head of white to off-white, but it is not
long lasting. The aroma is watermelon, more like Jolly Rancher than
actual watermelons, over toasted wheat. The taste is like a knock-off
brand of watermelon Jolly Rancher melted into a toasted wheat ale.
The finish is dry, astringent, with a weird metallic note. The beer
drinks easy, with refreshing carbonation. I'm not a fan of the
flavor, and the metallic note is a deal killer. I would not repeat
this beer.
