Josephsbrau Brewing Drive Thru Red

This is a 7.2% ABV dry-hopped red ale. It has 42 IBU's and is from Josephsbrau Brewing Company, the contract brewed store brand of Trader Joe's. 

The beer pours a dark copper and amber in color. There is a short head of light tan foam. The aroma is fairly mild, toasted caramel, dark fruit, and a bit spicy. The taste follows the aromas, loads of caramel, plum, cherry, with a lightly spicy bitterness on the finish. The beer drinks smooth with soft carbonation. This has some nice notes, but is mostly pretty blah.
