Funkwerks Raspberry Provincial

This 4.2% ABV sour ale brewed with raspberries is from Funkwerks of Fort Collins, Colorado. 

The beer pours a very slightly hazed salmon pink. There is a relatively short head of white that fizzes quickly down. The aroma is raspberry, leathery funk, and tart. The taste follows the aromas, a well-blended mix of raspberry fruit, tartness, and leathery, wool blanket funk. The finish is dry. The beer drinks soft, with fine tingles of carbonation. This is very well-done, nicely put together, and quite tasty.
