Fargo Iron Horse Pale Ale

This 5.0% ABV pale ale is from the Fargo Brewing Company of Fargo, North Dakota. There is information on the can, but it is in silver type on a silver can, and annoyingly very hard to read. This uses two variants of Falconer's Flight hops along with Horizon, and NW Pale Ale and Vienna malts, along with oats. In an awesome reference to the movie "Fargo," they have an IPA called Wood Chipper.

The beer pours a hazy amber and medium brown. There is about an inch of thick, foamy, somewhat creamy off-white head. The aroma is fruity, floral, tangy, light tropical fruit, citrus, tea with lemon, and light caramel toasted malt. The taste is an amalgam of all the aromas. The finish is moderately bitter. The beer drinks easy, crisply carbonated, refreshing. This is a straightforward, enjoyable and drinkable American pale ale.
