The beer pours copper and amber in color, nearly glowing.
There is a half-inch of very light tan head. The aroma is overripe melon,
tropical fruits, passion fruit, a touch of pine, hot, spicy, boozy. The taste
follows the aromas directly, adding in apricot, full, round, fruity, boozy,
damn near a hopped up barleywine, but way more hops than malt. It is medium to
full-bodied, round and smooth. This is one massive beer. I think I have to give the nod to their Lake Erie Monster over this, what do you think?
