Banks Caribbean Lager

This 4.7% ABV lager is from Banks, brewed on the Caribbean island nation of Barbados, since 1955. The beer pours golden yellow in color. There is a tall head of thick white foam. The aroma is full of grain and grass, with a touch of straw. The taste follows the aromas with grain; straw; and dusty, old wood barn. There is a light grassy bitterness on the finish. It is well carbonated, but also smooth. This is pretty good for its light lager style, and I bet even better if I was drinking it on a beach in Barbados!
