This 7.8% ABV strong European lager is from the Lomza Brewery of Poland. The beer pours an orange tinted dark golden. There is a tall head of thick white foam. The aroma is sweet, grainy, some straw and grass, an herbal tone like a light whiff of root beer. The taste follows the aromas directly, there are enough hops to fight off the sweetness and end with a very grassy bitterness. It has a fairly heavy mouthfeel, but there is ample carbonation. There are a lot of strong European lagers and a lot of them seem to be Polish. This one is pretty good compared to most of the others I have tried.
