Point Three Kings Ale

This is a 4.9% ABV kolsch-style ale from Stevens Point Brewery of Stevens Point, Wisconsin. Kolsch beers originated in Cologne, Germany where the remains of three kings reside in the Koln Cathedral (thus the name of the beer).

The beer pours a light golden yellow. There is champagne like carbonation. There is over an inch of thick, white foamy head. The aroma is light grain, tangy fruit, with a light floral note. The taste follows the aromas, with clean straw, fresh grain and a lemon note. It has a fairly dry finish. It is a nice light kolsch-style.
