Praga Dark Lager

Praga is brewed and bottled by the Pivovar Samson in the Czech Republic. Praga is the old name for the city of Prague. The beer is 4.5% ABV. The beer pours a dark chestnut, light mahogany brown. There is a half-inch of very light brown foam. The aroma is roasted malt, caramel, a touch nutty, with a grassy and brassy tang. The taste is nicely malty, following the aromas. The finish is moderately dry and just a bit sweet, but well in balance. This is a rich and delicious dark lager that still drinks refreshing, with nice carbonation. Set me down in Prague with a fresh pulled liter of this please!
