Praga is brewed and bottled by the Pivovar Samson in the Czech Republic. Praga is the old name for the city of Prague. The beer is 4.7% ABV. The beer pours a rich golden yellow in color. There is an inch of pure white thick head. The aroma is straw, grains, an old clean wooden barn, a touch of sweetness and grassiness. The taste follows the aromas. The finish is moderately dry and bitter. There is nice carbonation, but it feels just a tad watery in the mouth. Overall it is a satisfying Czech pilsner, but could stand to be fuller in the mouth.
