The beer pours a dark golden honey in color, with a hint of
orange. There is an inch of thick, foamy, off-white head. The aroma is passion
fruit, tangerine, a bit of light pine. The taste follows the aromas, over a
solid bed of toasted and crackery malt. The finish is moderately bitter to
start, but increases as the beer is consumed. It is medium-bodied with a fairly
crisp carbonation. Pleasantly solid (like most Sierra Nevada
beers).
