Schell's Shift Happens No. 2 - DDH Lager

This 8.6% ABV double dry-hopped lager is from the August Schell Brewing Company of New Ulm, Minnesota. It uses Citra, Glacier, and El Dorado hops. This is beer number two in what is to be a four part series.

The beer pours deep orange with a golden bronze. There is a tall, ragged honeycomb of white foamy head. The aroma is citrus, peach, apricot, and light pineapple. The taste follows the aromas, very fruity, with a slight piney note on the finish. The end is dry and moderately bitter. The beer drinks soft and smooth, with pillowy carbonation.
