Lion Bridge Disaster at Meux Porter

This 5.8% ABV porter is from the Lion Bridge Brewing Company of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

The beer pours a very dark brown, nearing black. There is a short head of tan foam. The aroma is dark roasted, coffee, chocolate, smokey char. The taste follows the aromas, very dark roasted, loads of flavors, quite dry, with a moderately bitter finish. The beer drinks smooth, with a medium body that is just enough to hold up all the big and bold flavors without being heavy. This is delicious.
