Bell's Light Hearted Ale

Bell's recently did a double version of their famous Two Hearted India Pale Ale. Now they have released a downsized lo-cal version of it, coming in at 3.7% ABV. Bell's Brewery is in Comstock, Michigan. I love the label art on the can, a very convincing late 1970's to early 1980's retro feel.

The beer pours a dark bronze in color. There is a tall head of white foam. The aroma is big, fruity, citrus, orange. The taste follows the aromas, citrus, orange, very light dank and pine, crackery malt. The finish is dry and moderately bitter. The beer drinks easy and refreshing. This makes for one nice session beer.
