Potosi Oktoberfest

The Potosi Brewing Company is in Potosi, Wisconsin. This is their 5.5% ABV Oktoberfest Marzen-style lager.

The beer pours a deep amber and burnt orange. There is a half-inch of very light tan head. The aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, ripe plums. The taste follows the aromas, adds in some nuttiness, and then ends with a very grassy bitterness. The beer drinks smooth, easy, yet with some refreshing carbonation.
