Exile Pink Guava Bohemian

This 5.0% ABV sour ale brewed with pink guava  is from the Exile Brewing Company  of Des Moines, Iowa.

The beer pours a very hazy orange and peach skin in color. There is a short-lived head of white to off-white foam. The aroma is tart and guava, with a ripe, tropical funkiness. The taste follows the aromas, a great back and forth between the tart sour notes and the ripe, tropical funky notes. The beer drinks with a medium body, and a dry and tart finish. The Bohemian sours are great, and this is one of the best of the lot.
