Surly Warp Zone Pilsner

This 5.2% ABV is from the Surly Brewing Company of Brooklyn Center (and now Minneapolis), Minnesota. The can is reminiscent of Space Invaders.

The beer pours a lightly hazed golden. There is an inch of thick, white foam. The aroma is grassy, bright, bread dough, floral and fruity. The taste follows the aromas, bready and bright, with a fairly bitter, and very dry finish. The beer drinks refreshing and crisply carbonated. This is a prime example of an American pilsner.
