The beer pours a clear amber and copper
in color. There is a tall head of off-white to very light tan head.
The aroma is malty, toasted, caramel, a bit of nut, a bit of sweet
potato. The taste follow the aromas, hitting the same malty notes.
There is some nice malty sweetness present, but the finish is dry
with moderate grassy bitterness. It hits somewhere between a malty,
traditional English bitter and an Oktoberfest beer. The beer has
enough body to hold up its flavor, but still drinks easy and
refreshing, with moderate carbonation. Another well-crafted,
quaffable brew from Carroll Brewing.
