Negra Modelo

This dark lager is from the Modelo brewing company of Mexico.

The beer pours a very dark brown, with an inch tall head of fizzing light tan foam. The aroma is is toasted malt, caramel. The taste follows the aromas, well toasted, sweet caramel, just a touch of nut, with a moderately bitter finish. The beer has a medium body and is well and crisply carbonated.
