Clown Shoes Yeeehaaw! New England Style IPA

Clown Shoes Beer comes from the Mercury Brewing Company of Ipswich, Massachusetts.  This is their 7.0% ABV New England Style India Pale Ale.

The beer pours a hazy orange golden. There is a inch of white foamy head. The aroma is citrus, with mango and peach. The taste follows the aromas, but amps up the citrus, before coming to a very bitter finish (like biting grapefruit peel while drinking tonic). The beer drinks with strong, crisp carbonation and drinks very refreshing.
