Clown Shoes Beer comes from the Mercury Brewing Company of Ipswich, Massachusetts. This is a 8.0% ABV double India Pale Ale made with guava.

The beer pours a very lightly hazed dark golden. There is a relatively short head of white foam. The aroma is mild, but with a good amount of guava. The taste is guava over toasted grain. The finish is fairly bitter. The beer drinks smooth, but with a crisp carbonation. This beer is basically a guava delivery device.
