Lagunitas Sumpin' Easy Ale

This 5.7% ABV ale is from the Lagunitas Brewing Company of Petaluma, California (and now with a brewery in Chicago, Illinois). 

The beer pours a bright yellow golden in color, very light haze. There is a tall, long-lasting, sticky white head of foam. The aroma is bright, citrus, tropical, with guava, pineapple, and passion fruit. The taste follows the aromas, tropical, but adding in a layer of dankness, with a very dry and quite bitter finish. The beer drinks with an easy smoothness, and moderate carbonation.
