The beer pours a very dark amber,
orange and brown. There is a half-inch of khaki head. The aroma is
sweet, fruity, with lots of Belgian yeast esters, cloves and bananas.
The taste follows the aromas, there is some well toasted and roasted
malt, some sweetness, fruitiness, and a lot of yeast notes. The
finish is dry and moderately bitter. The beer drinks easy,
medium-bodied, with just the right amount of carbonation to be
refreshing without being over carbed.
