Elysian Def Leppard Pale Ale

This 6.0% ABV blend of an English pale ale with American Northwest hops is from the Elysian Brewing Company of Seattle, Washington.  As the name indicates, the band Def Leppard was involved with the development of the beer. 

The beer pours a deep, dark golden in color, with a tall, thick, foamy head of white to off-white. The aroma is passion fruit skin, light citrus, toasted malt. The taste follows the aromas, ending with a tonic quinine quenching bitterness that has some grapefruit rind and pine in it. The beer drinks soft and smooth, with a light to moderate carbonation.
