Urban Chestnut Schnickelfritz

This 5.0% ABV Bavarian-style weissbier is from the Urban Chestnut Brewery of St. Louis, Missouri. The name is an old German word for a naughty child. 

The beer pours a hazed dark yellow and dark golden. There is an inch of white fizzing head that disappears quickly. The aroma is banana, toasted wheat, and light cloves. The taste follows the aromas, flavors of a traditional weiss beer. The finish has a light to moderate bitterness, appropriate for the style. The beer drinks with a light mouthfeel and a fine, but intense carbonation.
