The beer pours clear and golden. There
is a half-inch of white foam head, not particularly long lasting. The
aroma is cracked dry corn, toasted grain, bread dough. The taste hits
the same notes of grain and bread, and adds a lightly fruity note of
hay and flowers. The bitterness is light to moderate, but seems a bit
off in the aftertaste. The beer drinks very crisp, with refreshing
carbonation. These are the beers that Bud and Coors should be, but aren't.
