SingleSpeed Gable

This 5.0% ABV Munich helles style lager is from SingleSpeed Brewing of Cedar Falls and Waterloo, Iowa. It is named after Dan Gable, the world famous wrestler and Iowa Hawkeye wrestling coach, who hails from Waterloo. 

The beer pours golden with a light haze. There is an inch of white foaming head. The aroma is bread, hay, light floral, with some sweetness. The taste is bread, grain, light grass, there is a light bready sweetness, but a moderately grassy bitterness on the finish. The beer drinks easy, with crisp and refreshing carbonation, but still a smooth, medium body.
