Big Grove Arms Race

This is a 6.0% ABV American strong pale ale from Big Grove Brewery of Solon and Iowa City, Iowa. 

The beer pours copper and burnt orange in color. There is over a half-inch of off-white head. The aroma is tropical fruit, citrus, and a bit of dank, with mango, guava, and passion fruit. The taste follows the aromas, adding in some orange, a touch of grapefruit rind, and a bit of pine on the finish. It has a fairly strong bitterness. The beer drinks smooth, but also with a fine and intense carbonation.
