The beer pours medium brown with a bit
of dark amber. There is a relatively short head of light tan foam.
The aroma is sweet caramel malt, with a bright fruity plum note over
it. The taste follows the aromas, caramel, a bit nutty, with plum
fruit. There is sweetness, but a mostly dry finish, with moderate
grassy bitterness. The beer has a medium body with tingling
carbonation. There is not much roast on the malt here, it more like a
“dark” pale ale.
