The beer pours a mix of dark salmon
pink and light purple in color. There is a half-inch of very light
purple-pink foam. The aroma is tart and very fruity, full of sweet,
ripe, blackberry, and a light touch of leather. The taste follows the
aromas, a very nice blend of sweet, ripe, blackberry, sour tartness,
and a touch of tobacco and leather. The beer drinks with that watery
feel that sours tend to make, although at the same time not light in
body. The carbonation seems lacking for an instant, then comes in on
a wave of fine, intense bubbles.
